It's morning....we are all half awake and trying to eat some breakfast. The tv is on kids tv and the sweet quiet show cuts to loud, obnoxious commercials. I glance up and see the Polly Pockets Pool Party. Complete with 6 giggling girls and what looks like a LOT of fun. Quickly followed by....
Sylvie: "Mommy....oh I LOVE that. I NEED that. We could get that? I really really like that. It's so pretty...Mommy? See that?" and the look of sheer awe on her face wondering if anything could possibly be so wonderful and could we possibly have one of those in our house?!?!
Oh boy.....it might be a LONG 16 more years til she gets to college.
