Sylvie is my jaybird for two reasons. She loves to be as naked as I'll let her, thus "naked as a jaybird" Right now she's wearing a see-through "skirt" and "top" from her dress-up trunk. And also, she barely eats. She will tuck away a few things but somehow she can manage to live on air for the other 23 hours of the day. Today I said "Logan, we're going to the grocery story tomorrow, what will you be eating for dinner tomorrow?" And he said "pizza." Sylvie said "Nothing." That about sums it up. My "eats like a bird" girl.
Logan is Mr. Imagination. They just spent a few hours at a local children's museum this morning. It was a 1-room setup, nothing too fancy but the coolest part was a giant lincoln-log set he and a 6 year old used to build a house. Very cute! Then he and that boy and his little brother put on a puppet show! Big deal here. Logan is always so concrete, he would never do something like that, he followed right along and had a blast. I loved it!
Then, after lunch and some down-time at home, he and Sylvie went off to play and play and play for the next 2 hours. He was leading, with all kinds of ideas on what bad-guys they needed to battle, some games with coins, setting up a circle of chairs, lots and lots of games with very little but his imagination and a few toys. It was so cute to watch. They've been fighting a lot this week, so it was 2 blissful hours of them playing well together.

How fun--I'm looking forward to Zoodle being old enough to follow Chickie around talking with her and playing with her.
